I am the author and owner of Ramen Freak. I work in Windows and Linux mobile computing for a boring, colorless, publicly listed corporation in East Coast USA. You need to understand why you yourself should be doing the writing for your own blog — certainly for the first two years.

If you’re running a hobby-horse blog, you generally don’t pay because then you’d be inviting people to guest-post out of interest.
